Guiding a Foundation Towards Transformational Impact
With a growing endowment, the Community Foundation for McHenry County (CFMC) sought to build upon its responsive giving with a new strategic giving program that could drive measurable impact in its mission: to inclusively improve the quality of life in the County. CFMC invited Foresight to design and guide the staff and Board through a collaborative process for developing this new strategy, while building their capacity along the way. Informed by appreciative inquiry sessions with County stakeholders, the new strategy will focus on a collective impact initiative towards equitable economic opportunity and community capital building.
