The Foresight Design Initiative fosters the culture shift necessary to create more environmentally robust, socially equitable, and economically resilient cities. Through consulting, business, and education programs, the organization empowers individuals and organizations to become more effective and influential change agents. Foresight views design as a powerful tool for understanding and transforming sustainability challenges. Over the past eight years Foresight has developed a problem solving methodology, influenced by transformation design, that informs all of its undertakings.

An early leader in the field, Foresight has supported and connected Chicago’s sustainability movement since 2003. As a vital community hub, its website and email list promote relevant activities and job opportunities at local government agencies, non-profits, and sustainability-minded businesses. By connecting constituents to its own dynamic programs, as well as offerings throughout the city, Foresight enables people to forge a more durable revolution.
