In week three of Immersion, participant Jennifer Long says, “We have learned a lot of great tips about process in project work and working in a group. Also, we have learned that responsibility for sustainability-related issues does not just rely on the individual; there needs to be a cultural shift. As Peter said, in an adaptation of Gandhi’s words, ‘Be the change you want to see in the world while also creating the conditions for change to exist.’”
Jannis reports: “Altogether a great week (!), especially in terms of learning. For me, this week could be summed up with the saying, ‘It’s easy to miss something that you are not looking for,’ because I realized and learned so many new things in areas I felt fairly comfortable and knowledgeable in.”
