Our intensive summer program invites 16 young professionals to share the creative, multidisciplinary, and holistic process that Foresight has pioneered for over eight years. Through hands-on assignments for real clients, meetings with Chicago’s top innovators, field trips and readings, our participants emerge with the knowledge and skills necessary to forge a more sustainable future.

The small group sessions encourage interaction and allow for attention to individual questions. The two 3.5 hour courses employ a variety of presentation modes to keep the workshops relevant, engaging, and pertinent to attendee interests. Participants receive a unique 160-page resource manual and access to ongoing networking and job listings through an alumni-only LinkedIn group.

ABOUT FORESIGHT
The Foresight Design Initiative takes action and fosters dialogue on sustainable innovation in Chicago. It undertakes both its own programs, such as the Sustainable Business Alliance, Green Drinks, and Immersion, and consults on the development of others with a range of partners. Foresight views Design as a systematic approach to problem-solving that applies not only to traditional design fields, like graphics and architecture, but to business and policymaking. Through its diverse activities, the organization engages the general public, business and government to build community, educate and take action to sustain and improve the quality of life without sacrificing the needs of future generations.
